This brewery is both puppy- and kid-friendly, with plenty of space to enjoy a great variety of beers and have a nice conversation. Thanks to my daughter and her husband, I got to experience it for the first time, and it was amazing! I even left with some extra beer and a t-shirt as souvenirs. It felt like a delightful break in the fabric of time—definitely looking forward to coming back.

We love this neighborhood brewery - we have for a long time. The vibe, the pups, the delicious beer enjoyed with community - can't get much better.  BUT IT DOES....my dog 'Luna' took off last night and almost every worker and person in this place helped scour the area for her and she was found.

I came across a neighborhood bar that offers a large selection of draft beers and has easy parking. It’s located in a non-descriptive strip cenre. I had my 40th birthday party here a few weeks ago and had a great time! 28 of us showed up and Zach the bartender took great care of us. He is really fast and personable, great guy.

I live in the area and come here frequently. It’s a cool bar with a great beer selection, nice and relaxing atmosphere. They have a nice variety of wines as well.

Would 10/10 recommend this place.

This place is incredible! We had our wedding at Station 3 and dashed over for the after-party; it was everything we dreamed of. i walked into this new bar location in sawyer houston heights. The atmosphere was very inviting, upscale yet casual. Andres, Santi, and Lauren were excellent bartenders. I would definitely recommend Brian and Tour De Brewery when you are in Houston. We were looking for something to do while on a business trip and this sounded interesting. The bike was comfortable and the ride wasn’t difficult so don’t think you have to be a bike enthusiast to do this tour. On the Historic Heights tour we rode along the bayous, saw some city history and rode through some gorgeous neighborhoods stopping along the way to drink some delicious Houston beers. It was a great way to experience the city in a unique way!

Spent a great afternoon with Jason exploring East Downtown Houston on bicycles with a stop at a few of the local craft breweries. It's a great way to get a more intimate look at the EaDo neighborhood, fueled by great beer along the way. The riding was easy, and Jason was a terrific guide. My wife and I have a tradition of visiting a brewery, distillery, or winery every time we visit a new city. We ended up going to the Westlake Brewing Company and had an amazing time. We went on a rainy Tuesday afternoon and there weren't many people there. It provided a quiet and relaxing environment that let us enjoy the delicious beers we decided to try. The person serving the beers was extremely attentive, helpful, and provided us with excellent service. We ordered a flight each to try out some beers. The Super Dry, Shaved Ice, Rye So Amber, and Blond Coyote were all great. We also ordered the enormous pretzel with the beer cheese. The pretzel was great and paired well with the beers. There is an affordable parking lot right behind the brewery where you can pay to park. This is a great brewery that is making some really good beer. If we ever come back to the area, we would love to come back and visit so we can try some of the other styles.

The mead was delicious and available in a variety of flavors. I tried 3 different flavors, and they were all distinct and very good, and I especially recommend the magician. Mead is delicious, about $10 per tasting (4 sample pours) or available by the glass. Good selection different flavors, although ‘The Magician’ reigns top. The mead here is pretty great, whereas some mead has a medicine-like taste, this was crisp and delicious. Great service, really nice bartender. The space for the tasting is pretty basic, tables, chairs, and a good stack of games. It’s great if it’s hanging out with friends or playing cards, but perhaps not for a date (as my partner was perhaps not impressed). This was evident by the copy of ‘Nintendo Power’ on one of the coffee tables and a video of ‘Ducktails The NES Game’ playing in one corner. Go for the tasting, just set your decor expectations.

Great new brewery in the Cedars neighborhood.  Good selection of beers - some brewed in house and a selection of other local craft brews.  Something for everyone - lagers, ales, IPAs, stouts. Eli at the bar served us, and she was awesome. We watched the NFL playoffs here, but they also have a bingo night on Tuesdays, trivia night on Wednesdays, open mic nights on Thursdays. They've also got darts and some board games all the time.  It's a fun place to hang out.

Went by while in Arlington running an errand last night. Super casual laid back place.   The two guys at the brewhouse bar were SUPER nice and hospitable.  Never had a sour before nor had my wife and they gave us some nice samples.   Also tried some others but settled on the Imperial Oatmeal stout which was superb! I will start off by saying the people here are very kind, and they seem to care a lot about the business. However, I don’t think I’ll be going back. The pizza was very expensive and had a super thin cracker crust. Which can definitely be good. But the toppings were incredibly sparse. If I am paying that much for a pizza I would at least expect more than one topping per piece of pizza. The beer was also not my favorite. I will say that I’m not a huge fan of IPAs and Sours, and the bartender told us those are the specialties. Besides those, I didn’t love any of the other beers. And they told us they had 20-something beers on tap, but it looked like at least half were out. I really wanted to love this place but I think there are better breweries with better food out there.

Just wow! Best service and so nice! We stopped in after Pumpkin nights for a quick drink and so glad we did! My husband and I are moving to Fort Worth in a couple weeks so we were in town looking for an apartment. We had not found too many IPAs we liked yet so we were soooo happy to find that we LOVED every IPA they had. I ran 9 miles then went straight here for a pizza and some beer with some buds. Every person here ordered a whole pizza for themselves and cleaned up! It was some great Za and a great vibe. This brewery is such a hidden gem—I can’t believe it’s only a mile from my house! Tucked behind some businesses, it’s easy to miss, but once you find it, you’ll wonder how you didn’t know about it sooner. The vibe here is fantastic—open, vibrant, and super chill—perfect for grabbing a beer and unwinding.

It’s also dog-friendly, which is a huge plus! On our visit, we were spoiled with food options, including a variety of food trucks and a hot dog stand. We tried the oven-baked sausage pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. To top it off, we stumbled upon their "Octobearfest" celebration (yes, bear-themed!), which had fun activities and competitions throughout the day.

Of course, the beer is the real star here. Every brew we tried was top-notch—definitely my go-to now over Saint Arnold’s Brewery.

*Update:* We were thrilled to find them open on Christmas Day! The space was cozy and warm, and their cider was exactly what we needed to toast the holiday spirit. This spot has quickly become a favorite for its great atmosphere, delicious food, and, most importantly, incredible beer. Highly recommend checking it out!

Stopped in for a few beers with my wife on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.  They had all the doors open, and it's a great place to enjoy some cold beverages.  I had the Northwest corridor IPA, which was excellent.  I also tried the Hipster sauce IPA, which was good as well. My wife had the fruit tart and taco Tuesday, both of which she very much enjoyed.  Asking the bar tender, this place has combined with Fortress brewing and B52 brewing and is now 11 Below brewing.  Definitely worth checking out for some good beers and a great atmosphere.  I would have given five stars, but the two bar tenders were more concerned with chatting with their friends off in the corner than getting me another beer. Sat at the bar with an empty for at least 10 min. Had to wave my hand to finally get their attention. Not ideal.

Their food truck ran out of food the evening we were there and that was a bummer because we had to find another place to eat.

They have a parking in the back which is convenient. The open seating in the front is nice specially when a nice breeze is blowing after some rain.

The beer was good. I wish they had a flight option but they do serve 4 oz portions which sort of made up for it.

Big Owl Craft Brewery is hands down one of my favorite spots just outside the Heights. I've been coming here for a couple years now, and it never gets old. They’ve got an awesome selection of beers, always something new to try, but I still have my go-to favorites.

What really makes Big Owl stand out, though, is the vibe. Whether it's Lotería nights, Free Taco Fridays (yes, really), or hanging with the run club crew, there’s always something fun going on. It feels like a true community spot, laid back, welcoming, and full of good energy.

Love that they're locally and Hispanic owned too. You can really tell how much heart they put into everything. If you're into good beer and good people, you’ve gotta check this place out.

This place is the perfect spot to catch up with friends and enjoy a delicious craft beer. Recommend the cocktail flight if you’re stuck between a few choices. The liquor flight was too strong for me. The chocolates from Mostly Chocolate can be purchased separately from the whiskey flight and were so good we made Mostly Chocolate our next stop of the day. Great staff made the visit worth it!

William Price Distilling holds its own in the spirits business. We had the pleasure of attending one of their cocktail making classes- the cocktails were strong and the ambiance was even better. Their rye holds up to many we've had in Kentucky! A great local business that deserves your thirst :)

It is a quaint old fashioned place studded with Elvis memorabilia from a different time and there is also a pool table, but it feels more like entering into somebody's living room possibly because the owner is so nice and welcoming.
Outside,  there is a raised and covered area surrounded by actual rose bushes and they are blooming at this time so we were litterally sitting in a rose garden.
The Rose Garden is the place to go if you are tired of trendy noisy bars and you want to try something different.

Went to try out this brewpub with friends and we had a great time!  All the beers we tried were great!  Our favorite was the Red IPA (we left with a 4 pack of that). The food was hit fresh and delicious.  It is a family friendly atmosphere and still accommodates a group of friends. This brewery has a great chill neighborhood vibe with indoor and outdoor seating. It has a mix of their own brews and other local brews on tap for a nice but not overwhelming selection. Do not miss out on the brussel sprouts! They were perfectly crispy and well seasoned. My husband and I got the focaccia sandwiches, and man, we were not disappointed! Very good IPA beers here in a relaxed setting. Indoor and outdoor covered seating as well. The mugs on the wall testify to how good the beer is that one would pay $$$ to be a mug club member. Parking is tight, but if you walk a little, there is free parking across the road. We will be back. Recommended.
