My photos show all the non-alcoholic beer and gluten free beer they have! The staff is amazing and I love the selection of local draft beer they have (they are all AZ beers)! Their trivia is a blast and their food truck selection is great. They are also very family friendly. They have games like foosball and connect four and board games!

Needed to run an errand to Harbor Freight on SE corner of Bell rd and 51st ave. To my surprise right next door (to the right), something caught my eye; and open door with ballons and a sign above the door: Hopsology Taproom and Wine Bar. So I had to peak inside and check it out. A friendly greeting said "C'mon in and welcome!!" (WTHeck, Harbor Freight can wait), so I sat down in an awesome bar seat with a back, all-cushioned very comfortable and the perfect height,  especially for tall people! Allie was the person whom greeted me, asked what type of beer do I prefer. I enjoy IPA's but during the day running errands and such, the abv has to be low. She offered a couple of choices and I was very pleased with an ice cold brew. Also met a few folks at the bar who were very friendly and knowledgeable home-brewers, willing to share there experiences. There was a food truck that arrived, but I didn't try any food but I did see a couple of orders and it looked good. Also met Adam whom shared his opening experience so far.  I can tell they are both dedicated to making Hopsology work and I wish them all the best!! I will be back.

Family owned and obviously very passionate about providing both knowledge and service to their customers. Rotating taps, so come back again and again to see the new offerings. Not much for food on site, however there are local food trucks with variety to try. Single cans to have something to take home. Not a big wine guy, but their selection seems varied as well. If you are a home brewer, they have supplies for too. Will return. Cheers!

Great concept, very unique to the area. Also, been around 35 years, but the new owner has taken a unique approach.1) You can bring your food, but will have food trucks too some nights.  2) it’s a taproom focused on local beer, they have wine (great selection, from anywhere in the world ), they have canned craft beer ( a lot) 3) it has evolved from a place where beer hobby folks would shop for supplies to a way more social atmosphere that still has the shop elements.

Great place to check out, if you golf at Belair, amazing landing spot.  Live around the area, great people to support.

The people that run this place are so rude!!  They started cussing at my husband because he parked in a spot that they thought they had reserved. He was 10 feet away from the orange cones they had in the parking lot, but she still felt that he was encroaching on her reserved space in this open parking lot I’m sorry this is an open parking lot. What the heck is she thinking? She was completely unhinged. Definitely will not be spending a dime in her business or the food trucks that she brings in.

And now that I review their response, I can also add to my review and say they are dishonest.  The response was dishonest and that’s not actually what happened.  But good luck to you oh and in response I guess what you told me karma is a B word.  Yep that’s what you said to me. By the way, we were at least 15 feet away from your cones and the food truck did pull up before we left and had plenty of room so your ridiculous amount of reserving spaces was embarrassing. Had you just asked nicely that we could reposition our trucks because you had a food truck coming in we would’ve gladly done so with a smile, but you came off hot like angry at the world.

This place had decent prices and plenty of tasty selections. 1227 Taproom in Phoenix has a chill vibe and a great variety of craft beers. The staff are friendly and know their stuff. Plus, Fonzy Tacos is right behind the taproom and serves some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The combo of good beer and tasty tacos is perfect. Definitely worth a visit!

1227 Tap is a fun place for live music and to just hang out. The staff is very friendly and attentive to the guests. They have an awesome selection of craft beers (Pizza Port is one of my favorites) and a variety of wine to choose from. It’s a spot definitely worth checking out.

The vibe is very chill, and the bartender we spoke with was very pleasant, he told us about a cool app where you can log beers youve tried/find new ones!

We have only been a couple times, but they have had a live music type band playing music too

They have an orange creamsicle ale my bf loves and a frozen rosé for the ladies ✨

Great beer, wonderful owners who are very knowledgeable and provide great recommendations. They have a wall of take-home beers that have a wide array of choices. Amazing taco truck right outside if you need a bite to eat while you enjoy the amazing beers. 10 out of 10 come try it, especially if you're not local.

Newly opened near PV renovation area, around the corner from Whole Foods.
They do not have a kitchen but you can bring food in, and a decent burger place (Melt) nearby.
Very cute and nice inside. There is bar seating, tables, and booths.
Trivia on Tuesdays at 7pm. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was full by 1pm.
Great selection of draft and cast beers as well as a stocked cooler of Wren House favorites.
Good vibes and not as noisy as the nearby Trevor’s.

I like trying out new places that serve beer. Wren house makes great beer and the Phoenix location has always been a favorite. If I lived in the apartments above this location I would come all the time. Clean. Covered patio. Parking isn't the best but there is a lot not too far away.

No food, but some good Wren House beer on cask, and more on tap. Nice new location, but a bit small. Mostly high tables and booths. Parking is less then optimal, and involves a lot of hunting for open spot, and a walk, or valet across the street at Blanco. The AC has hard time coping when the place is full, and if you sit by the door you will be hit from the people coming and going. A bit of a fail for new construction.

PROS:
- Four beer engines for cask beer
- Fresh looking space
- Good ambiance
- Great Wren House beer

CONS:
- No Gravy
- Parking is less than optimal, and involves a bit of a walk, which isn't fun in the heat
- Too small, it is going to be crowded during popular days, hours
- When full AC can't keep up

Wow, great job on the new Wren House PV location. It's a nice upscale Pub Style Tap Room with beautiful wood work around the booths. With 16 beers on tap and 4 casks there's a style for everyone.  The Prairie Ghost Altbier on cask was amazing. It's conveniently located behind Whole Foods and right across from Blanco with a parking garage nearby.

4.5 Stars so I’ll round up. Group stopped after a hike.  Service was great, drinks were great, food was great outside of the mushrooms.  I’d give it a full 5 stars if not for the trying those. The fact such a perfect establishment exists is beyond amazing. The food: burgers, schnitzel, fries, onion rings, and all the appetizers are top tier. Oh and the beers... the most delicious companions to already stellar grub! The have water and soda that is also good for anyone not imbibing.

I am a butcher's daughter - born and raised. So I have always been picky about my meat. As I have added on the years, however, I have become less and less a fan of meat, especially the red kind, as all those calories come with a price. Consequently, I rarely order a burger cuz, when I do, it always (always) disappoints.

Smash burgers, in particular, are a farce to me. In my not-so-humble opinion, I imagine they were named such when some rube ruined a burger by overcooking it and the restaurant owner, to make margins, renamed the carnage, slapped it on the menu, and thus began a fad. I have never had one I liked ... until today.

My partner and I stopped at this location for the first time today. Contrary to my burger experience, Wren House has never ever disappointed me with their beer. In fact, I rank them in the top of my all-time breweries. For reference, my partner and I have visited over 1200 breweries, including the more renowned ones in France and Belgium. I've got street cred.

Today, I suggested we order the Valley Burger -  a smash beef and Käsekrainer patty with various and sundry condiments - hoping beyond all hope I wasn't making a mistake.

Omg. It was amazing! My only regret is that my partner and I split the burger. I would have loved one all by me onsey.

And the Lustige Frites? The absolute best accompaniment. Thank you, Wren House, for not just making my beer day, but my burger day as well. We will definitely be back!

Great food, great atmosphere and great service. The dirty fries are a MUST try. While beets are always on the menu, they usually also have a seltzer or cider so there’s something for every taste. The patio is great on a nice day. They’re usually pretty busy on the weekends (for good reason) but I’ve never had to wait long. 5 stars.

Was here before and was awesome so decided for Anniversary to go. Turkey was inedible as enough salt to dry up the ocean. Brisket was just ok though heavily seasoned on top. Coleslaw and rest were yuck xandcthe cheese dip appetizer tasted like melted Velveeta. The only good thing was the water and the service.

So, I was told i would get some kind of credit back after I provided the ticket numbet.  I did that, but guess what, they gave nothing back for a horrible salty meal.  If you're looking for a good watering hole, this is the place, but stay away from the BBQ!!!!

So. Surprise. Surprise. 5 stars. My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here because we absolutely love this place. We come here for valentines birthdays and now our anniversary. We didn’t want to order anything crazy. We just wanted to relax have a couple of drink and snack. We tried their oysters and WOW. For desert we had their smore crème brûlée and that was the best I can remember. Our server Paola was absolutely on point. Matt the owner was the one who came out and served us our oyster and we didn’t even know. Very humble and polite and made sure we were taken care of. I will always recommend this place to everyone. The vibe was great. The buffalo cauliflower was fantastic. I would definitely order them again if we decide to go. I would have only given 3 stars if it wasn't for the buffalo cauliflower.

The beet crudo was very unbalanced. A ton of cheese and not enough sweetness to cut through the arugula. I asked for a little more "dressing" and was informed that it was a glaze and that's probably why I couldn't "find" it. We likes our server until that point. No matter what the sauce is called I wanted it to help balance my meal because honestly before I got the additional glaze it wasn't very good. The additional glaze definitely helped and made the beet crudo more enjoyable.

Excellent food and service. Had a simple burger and it was great. Fries especially are awesome. The open seating outside has a great vibe but the road is quite loud. Would eat here again for sure.
