So happy that I finally got to check this place out.  The beer selection is amazing.  The have some good snacks and platters on the menu.  The space is big and airy and there is plenty of outdoor seating also.  They have a section of coffee and merchandise.  It also appears that they have various activities during the week.  The service is good and the prices are decent.  They also have Cocktails made with beer and non-alcoholic drinks plus they have soft drinks.  The music is a nice variety from The Beatles to Al Greene and some Jazz.  It's nice background music at the perfect volume.  I'll have to go back and try some of their other beers and some of the platters.

I have been to Talea many times and usually always enjoy my time -the large windows and relaxed working atmosphere made it a place where I would both work and meet with friends.

However I went with my partner on Weds, April 23rd and had an incredibly disheartening experience that will result in me not returning. My partner and I arrived at Talea in the morning, where they had a virtual meeting they needed to hop on immediately upon arriving so they went and found a table in the taproom.

I ordered a coffee and met them at the table, where they had already once been approached by the manager Shannon about ordering something. Shannon then continued to come back multiple times, making accusatory presumptive remarks about my partner using the Wi-Fi and questioning their intent to order. She loudly made accusations with an inflammatory and patronizing tone. My partner was clearly trying to finish a time sensitive task on their computer, yet instead kept getting questioned by this manager in a way that made them feel singled out, especially as the only Black woman there.

It felt so invasive and uncomfortable, to the point where my partner and I left to go to a different cafe to finish their work. No other patrons would have been treated that way- making them feel demeaned and targeted. Regardless of intent, it was incredibly sobering and disappointing to have the manager of a woman owned business make others feel unwelcome in this way.

After my partner’s meeting was finished, we both returned to Talea to order a tea and speak with the manager and let her know how her actions translated- regardless of intention. Instead of acknowledging how her actions made my partner feel- Shannon instead greeted us back to Talea with a condescending “Welcome back, you two,” in a tone that felt mocking. My partner tried to address their concerns, but the manager turned her back and walked away mid sentence.

This experience displayed a complete lack of professionalism and respect. All patrons should be treated with dignity and respect, and with best intentions. Overall, this was a very disheartening experience that has left my partner feeling singled out and hurt. We will not be returning, and want to let others know of our experience.

Would have rated the food but kitchen was closed.  Shares space with the mushroom restaurant next door so ther can be the option of getting food from there and having it delivered to the bar m, but it depends on foot traffic. On the other hand, it’s probably easier to go to the restaurant next door and order beers from the bar here because it’s less of an overall stress on the staff. The beer list here is thoughtful and there are some very meat bottles on the bottle list. This spot deserves a place on any list of significant beer bars in Manhattan.

Some top notch NEIPAS, sours, bretts, lagers and pilsners.

A great dimly kit bar, awesome bartender (I must do better at remembering names) and while I was there, so really good tunes in the background.

Plenty on tap and for takeaway. I mean some good quality hard to find craft beer. No macro crap.

It's on the lower east side so being a native, or possessing the ability to navigate that part of Manhattan (it's less on the grid than the rest of the city) helps.

Awesome little beer bar with great staff and selection. The tap list includes 20 beers wonderfully curated to cover a broad range of styles and tastes, but definitely leans toward the unique, hard-to-find, specialty end of craft beer. It's the first place I've ever seen Black Tuesday and couldn't pass it up.

Let me start with I love onion rings and this place has the best I have gotten in a long time, nice and crunchy with a hole onion ring in side it OMG. The food at this place is great at the right price for the large portion your served. For my main course I had shrimp with mussels in some kind of sauce that was great. So if you're looking for some good Pub food in a good atmosphere this place may be right for you. I say good for date night or with some close friends or maybe to get a drink at the large bar this pub won’t disappoint you in the heart of a nice town with plenty of free parking in a rear lot. We did an event at the Tap room
Everything went great for my daughter’s graduation. We were able to set up timely matter.
The size of the room was perfect for the event and the staff was very helpful in whatever we needed to do and very accommodating. The bartender, Melissa was terrific and very helpful. We were able to use Spotify perfectly.  The food was delicious especially I heard chicken wings and tenders were the best, (I wish I would have ordered more) .The only minus was the veggies were just ok.
My only issue was the lighting it was a bit dark in some areas but the staff was able to brighten a few spots.
Overall we had a great time and experience. We would do it again over there.

Atmosphere,vibes and service is exactly what you expect from Tap Room and this one us no different.

Food at this location is not something to brag about. Chicken in Gyro is dry and my buttermilk chicken sandwich looked like it was deep fried in two week oil.

I'm not new to Tap Room but I was in Garden City and decided to give their location a try. Same great customer service same welcoming atmosphere and the mimosas of course did not disappoint. They were strong and kept coming. The wings did exactly what they were supposed to do and the bourbon mussels are a MUST try. However, I was shocked to see how they presented the eggs and cheese, didn't bother to let it melt, not mixed in, lacked presentation and did not look appetizing. The hangover burger was also a miss. I tried their chicken burgers before and expected the same level of satisfaction but I  was very much disappointed with the hangover burger. Nevertheless I would still recommend. Their bottomless mimosas make up for where they failed and I do feel like their menu has other items worth giving a try.

Drinks were great, bartender was great but paid like 20-22$ for a steak sandwhich and just got served bread with a sliver of beef. Times are tough but you can’t be charging people and not delivering . A solid place to hang out after work.  The wall of beer is a neat attraction, though admittedly it could use improvement.

Not all the taps on the wall actually has anything connected.  It was a bit sparse and mostly IPAs which I'm not personally a fan of.

Other than that, a full explanation was provided on how the cards work, and the food was decent and plentiful.  The casual nature of the establishment and the free flowing beer lend to an easy going night out with no pressure for anyone to drink more than they want to.

Among the food, the wings were the highlight; it had a nice smoky flavor and were crisp when biting into it, but not dry.  Fries, guac, and nachos were all decent but nothing particularly stood out, but the portions were generous.

I hope the next time I return there would be a more varied selection on the beers.

This was a spontaneous choice for a work happy hour but it was actually so great! An amazing happy hour deal where you get unlimited drafts that are SELF POUR!!! How sick is that I had so much fun I tried all their like 7 cider flavors it was amazing. We also shared some food, nachos were fine and the wings were super good! You can pour your own way at Tap Haus 33, and it’s 99 times better than a lot of the pubs in the city. They have an insane collection of brews with a row of pour spigots ready when you are. Just load a closed-loop card, swipe it at each spout, and let the good times flow.

What I love about this place is the atmosphere. The party tables give it a relaxed and familiar vibe, inviting conversation with your group - or with new friends you’ve just met. The space is somewhat narrow, but they’ve maximized it for relatively easy movement. The beer spouts line one full side of the joint, and it’s easy to scan what’s on tap. The hardest part? Making choices from so many rotating beers.

The bar is designed for sports, with TVs on every wall - so it’s an ideal spot for taking in a game. Because it’s small, things can get a little loud, so come prepared for the boisterous crowds during big matches and events (I personally like that kind of energy during a game).

Let’s talk food, because it kind of blew my mind. I went in not expecting much, but the burger was outrageous. And any menu that offers jalapeños on a tasty slab of medium beef is a hot ticket.

Oh, and the fires? Fuggetaboutit!!! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned all around to perfection. Fries are a dealbreaker for me, and having a side of spicy mayo took it up 33 notches.

If you’re in the K-Town region of the 212, I highly recommend hitting the Tap Haus for the beer and the food. You won’t regret it.

TapHaus has become one of our go-to spots to hang out with friends. The vibes are always great—fun atmosphere, good music, and super friendly staff. The bartenders, James and Danny, are always awesome—super friendly and know their stuff. The owner is also really welcoming and creates a great environment.
The beer selection is solid, especially if you're into IPAs and ciders. Definitely a place worth checking out if you're looking for a chill beer spot with good energy and even better people.

Reasonable prices for the city + Bar tenders have a great sense of humor and are very friendly.   The lamb sliders and their hot honey wings were packed with flavor and finger licking good.

Very good place to hang and the beer is good. Cocktails also seem good for what they are. They have truffle fries here but I wouldn't say they have enough truffle taste as other places. Molten chocolate cake is a good desert if needed.

I had my bridal shower upstairs at Taproom RVC and it was amazing! Jen was super sweet, kind, and down to earth. She was a huge help and was extremely knowledgeable. Her communication with me leading up to the event and throughout the event was much appreciated and reassuring. When planning my shower she provided me with a detailed timeline and various floor plans to choose from. Jen allowed me to come in two hours before my shower to start setting up the decor. Everything was in place according to the chosen floor plan and ready for me to start setting up. Throughout the shower Jen would check in to make sure everything was going well and to see if there was anything I needed. The food was delicious and all the staff were helpful and nice. Everyone raved about the food and the ambiance of the room. The day was truly flawless and a great time was had by all. We even kept the party going after on the main floor. Great local sports bar with delicious food. The meal was made to my liking, made me very happy... In the summer I sat outside and really enjoyed the DJ. This time the big screens were just what I needed for a night of games with dinner.

I cannot say enough great things about the Loft at Tap Room! From start to finish, our event was absolutely amazing. The space itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and perfectly suited for both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. Interesting place. We had dinner here initially, then afterwards, around 9:30, the place gets crowded with people around the center bar. DJ mixed dance music but really no place to dance. Upstairs had a rock back on a slighty elevated "stage" which we enjoyed more since it had room to move around. Ordered the Mussels in wine sauce for appetizers and they were delicious. Also ordered the Crispy Chicken Salad (pictured) which was also tasty. The buffalo wings also was a hit. Then again, beer goes with everything. If you want a fun place, this would be it, but the crowd was a lot younger and those days have past me by, years ago.
