I was able to take the Belgian/France Tour 24 this year. It was my first time in Europe and ICBT made it a memorable experience. The breweries we toured were fantastic. The tour at each brewery was engaging and very interesting. If I ever have the chance to do another international beer tour, it will be through ICBT.

The 2025 Belgium/France tour was great. It was something that I wanted to do for a long time. It was nice to see and talk to people from breweries whose beers I have been drinking for ages. Everyone on the tour were super friendly. Unfortunately, this is the last Belgium tour but maybe it will like the supposed last tour of many rock groups.

Catalonia 2023 was the first ICBT for my wife and me, and it was one of the best tours we have ever been on - period.
The pace of the tour, the variety of locations, the knowledge of the guides, and access we received were just impossible to get on our own. It didn’t feel like a tour, it felt like being part of a little family exploring Catalonia.
The food, the beer, the scenery, the history - just wow. This tour made us fall in love with Spain, and we hope to join another ICBT tour around the world soon.

Went to Belgium and France with my husband and brother to celebrate their 40th birthdays. What an amazing experience! We went to some places we’d never heard of and would definitely never have considered going as they were “off the beaten path” so to speak, but man was each stop worth it! This is not your average beer tour. Each brewery warmly welcomed us and shared their passion for not only the products they make but the process by which they do it. The love of the beer is evident at every stop and the connection that ICBT has with each brewer/blender/farmer makes the whole experience so much more intimate than you would get anywhere else. Highly recommend and would absolutely go again!

We had an amazing trip to Scotland with Inner Circle Beer Tours, visiting distilleries and breweries. Distillery tours often feel repetitive because of the standardized distilling process, but ICBT selected tours that showcased unique aspects of the craft. The strong relationships that the ICBT guides have with smaller breweries provided us with exclusive experiences that we wouldn't have had otherwise. We also really appreciated cultural stops on the way. We are excited to attend the other trips they offer in the future!

We visited New York in June and decided on a city brew tour around Brooklyn. We arrived at our meeting point half an hour early and our tour guide Dan was already there. As it was only us on the tour - bonus - we started straight away ! What a great young man. He remembered it had been my daughter’s 21st so brought her a gift. Dan was very knowledgeable about the brewing process and the breweries we visited which we would never have found without him -  hidden gems. My friend and I were in New York on holiday and booked the Brooklyn brewery walk tour with Jonathan, having never done one before we weren’t sure what to expect, but it was a brilliant experience, just us and one other young couple were on the tour, so it felt very personal. Jonathan was my tour guide. He was very knowledgable and definitely made the experience fun and informational. You can tell that he knew the brewing process intimately and was able to explain it in layman terms. Great tour experience with Chris!! Opted for the express tour with 3 stops — this was a gift for my partner and he’s a beer drinker while I’m not. Each stop I was able to still enjoy the drinks and Chris offered a lot of insight to the breweries we visited plus local fun facts! We had a great time on the Signature Brewery Tour with Chris. McSorley’s was a great starting point, followed by Brooklyn Brewery, Farm One Brewery, and Spicy Moon. We had great interactions with the staff at all four locations, giving us anecdotes and information about the locations, the beers, and the history of each. We enjoyed a private tour with Marshall and I believe it was the best brewery tour in the United States!  We have taken many brewery and cocktail tours in the U.S. and Europe and Marshall made the experience the most memorable and enjoyable!  Marshall’s personality and knowledge about the history of beer and New York breweries is amazing!  We were transported from brewery to brewery in a luxury SUV.  Each brewery has  samples, unique atmosphere, and welcoming staff.  Marshall thoughtfully provided tasty snacks to complement the cold brews!  The three hour tour flew by! The experience started at McSorley’s Old Ale House and we were greeted with two glasses of beer, the pale and dark ales, then some crackers and cheese with onions, which was delicious! The tour guide was welcoming and nice and he shared historical aspects about each spot and along our drive. It wasn’t too much information and I wanted to listen. Then we went on to Brooklyn brewery, which was another awesome location and lastly the Bronx Brewery and I was very happy with not just the amount of beer, but they gave mac and cheese bites and Fries as our snack. We have been a loyal patron of this neighborhood gem for 4 years, and it never disappoints! The atmosphere is always lively, and the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about their impressive beer selection.

The seasonal menu keeps things fresh, and this visit didn't disappoint. Standouts included the Sonic Architecture (Hazy IPA), Artifact Engine (Dark Lager), and Infernal Optimism (Smoked Porter). I love that they offer various pour sizes, perfect for sampling new brews.

Good place for hanging out in a large group. Lots of outdoor seating for when it’s nice out. There’s an amazing selection of beer and non beer beverages, and there are multiple eateries surrounding the brewery that you can bring to eat at the tables. However, it’s quite a zoo with tons of little kids running around constantly while their parents hang out. So probably wouldn’t recommend this for a calm outing. But pretty good spot regardless. Prices are definitely reasonable for the area.

This brewery is a great spot to hang out, especially for groups. It’s a large space with plenty of seating, including a great outdoor area to enjoy your drinks. Cool brewery to check out when in LIC. Loved seeing doggos chilling inside. Tried the Chronyc, an hazy IPA, which was delicious while others ordered a few cocktails. Spacious area and good food such as buffalo wings and nachos from next door. They have a couple of board games to play and we decided to play Battleship which was fun. Straight up one of my favorite breweries of all time! First time ever making our way to Wild East and it won’t ever be our last. We threw a February wedding at Wild East on a Sunday, with a guest count of 115, and it was absolutely perfect. Wild East has some of the best beers in Brooklyn, with consistent quality across styles, so there’s something for everyone. The space itself has the right balance of existing ambiance and opportunity to infuse your own aesthetic.

The events coordinator Casey and owner Tyler were very accommodating when it came to decorating in the space, allowing for our friends to hang a backdrop for the ceremony and decorate the bar and tables with fresh flowers, foraged pieces, and candles. The bartenders were super respectful and upbeat, working cheerfully all night long. Casey was kind, really chill, and open to ideas throughout the process; she even gave us a couple of four-packs when we came the next day to load our final boxes and cake out, which was a really sweet gesture. Casey really helped make our wedding day everything we wanted it to be, and we’re so grateful for all her coordination.

Overall, the experience was exactly what we hoped for, the Wild East team let us run with our ideas, and we were thrilled that our family and out of town friends had easy accommodations and train options nearby. Plus, they have two super cute brewery cats who oversaw the whole thing! :)

This is a good bar. My favorite thing about this bar is all of the beer. They have different kinds of beer. Some of it sweet. Some of it is sour. If I came back, I would order beer. I have been wanting to come here for years. As a subway fan I really like the logo. I finally had a chance during a visit o NYC this month. The beer did not disappoint. Excellent brewery, in a much too small space for all the beers they have. Love the flights option to try more of their beers. The staff are friendly and will talk your ear off if you let them. Love that the entire space was furnished with reclaimed materials, mostly put together by the owner and his friends. Worth the visit.

Ric made this tour the best ever. Knew all the landmarks along the way and included many moments he personally experienced. Took us passed many historical and movie landmarks. First of all I must say I tend to avoid these typical «hey look, I’m a tourist»-kind of things.
But: the hop on, hop off bus tours turned out to be the best choice for us with the kids to explore Manhattan. We bought a 48 hour package. Unfortunately no time for the upper tour (to Central Park), but we did get through the lower tour, the Circle Line sightseeing boat cruise, and what turned out to be the icing on the cake: the night tour on lower Manhattan and over to Brooklyn.

All of these are well worth the five stars. But I want to highlight the Night Tour. The fantastic driver Manny and the enthusiastic and knowledgeful guide Shelley took us through. The weather of course was on our side, with a beautiful sunset. But the route, the slow driving across Manhattan Bridge, the good stories and the insightful guiding, and the views were amazing.

So we parents enjoyed, and the kids as well. My skepticism turned into enthusiasm. And a very well deserved 5 stars!

Strong Rope Brewery Red Hook

Only stumbled across this because I wanted to have a drink with a friend who was sailing on the Queen Mary 2 the next day.

There's nothing fancy about it, but, as a brewery, they actually have a good craft beer list and the bartender was happy to tell you about the offerings. The Storyteller Imperial Stout was excellent, and I'm admittedly hard to please.

Even better than the beer is the view from the tables outdoors, which features the Statue of Liberty. Worth a visit by itself.

I absolutely love this place. The interior is rustic and spacious. The outdoor seating area has beautiful views of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty. It’s fun to just sit outside and watch the boats go by.

I’m glad people love this place, but unfortunately I can’t say I do. I tried two of their IPA’s (and I love IPA’s), however I really didn’t like them. The space is really big and open and I suggest visiting on a warmer day (not in the winter). The view of the Statue of Liberty was great and relaxing in general (there is lots of outside seating). I do hope everyone’s experience is better than mine.

I visit new breweries whenever I can and decided to pay a visit to Five Boroughs during my stay in New York.

The brewery has a single indoor space with no separation. No food is present except bagged snacks. They have a table with boardgames and a small area for kids to play. It felt like the area is not insulated well as it was pretty chilly inside.

The beers are just OK. Nothing more. They are not bad, but also they do not add anything new to the craft beer scene. The tap list is heavy in IPAs and has several European options as well. You can order a beer flight of 5 to try multiple beers. I was not impressed by any of my choices. If you do not search for craft beers, they should be fine - the beers are really safe and generic.

This is a nice place to hang out with your friends, but if you're looking for anything new in the beer styles - you might want to look elsewhere.

I discovered Five Boroughs Brewing during a walk in the neighborhood of Sunset Park. I veered off my normal path saw some folks hanging out outside of a well lit place and went in to check it out. The weekend vibe in this establishment is very professional and casual at the same time. The taproom was absolutely spotless and filled with patrons enjoying themselves. I was there to late to take a brewery tour, but got the chance to try a few different beers. Overall I found this to be a great place to grab a drink and hangout with good company. They dont have much in terms of bar snacks, but you are encouraged to order or bring your own food. Totally looking forward to returning soon.

The absolute best spot in Crown Heights/ Bed Stuy. I have never been a beer drinker and this spot made me love beer. Tyler Allen is a wonderful human and makes everyone feel welcome. This taproom feels very much like your typical neighborhood bar. In a good way! It's a space that invites you to hang out and spend time. Plenty of seating options, including a cozy backyard. I appreciate how they focus on a few styles (lagers and mixed fermentation ales) rather than trying to do everything. Currently offering seven beers. The place feels more like a high end bar rather than a microbrewery. There are freshly baked biscuits available as well as other food items. Mr. Allen was a cool guy.

Stopped in on a trip between Long Island and Delaware. I have had some of their stuff other places so I new they made quality beer. I was not disappointed. They are located in a cool greenhouse structure in Queens. They have a lot of room given the area. I had mostly IPA's, Stouts, and a cinnamon vanilla barleywine. Everything was delicious. The only thing that was disappointing was that since it was right after Christmas their to go options were extremely limited. I hope to be back.

I love this cozy local brewery! With both indoor and outdoor seating and a welcoming pet-friendly atmosphere, it's perfect for bringing my dog along. Have come here on multiple occasions, on a weekend, specifically to give this place a try.

Each time, the place has been unexpectedly closed/booked for some kid's birthday party.

A very cozy spot with a lot of options for seating (which I love!). Very welcoming to a variety of folks and they are seriously dog friendly. While their beers were not to my palette, I love the flight for $18 which is one of the best deals I've found at breweries nearby. You can bring in some of your own nosh, which is also great and makes the environment even better! Really can't get over how cozy the space was, felt like I could sit there for hours. I would certainly go back and now having tried most of their menu would probably stick with their West Coast IPA but the smoked lager was super interesting. Had a great time at Transmitter Brewing. Getting there from Midtown was a breeze—the ferry ride was under 20 minutes, and it’s less than a five-minute walk from the landing to the brewery. My wife and I love the idea of this place, and it’s such a cool space, but the last three times we’ve been here, the bartenders have been oddly rude, even to the point of turning us away before closing time (before we could even really interact with them!)… If you are the owner of this establishment and you are not one of the rude bartenders, then your people are doing you wrong! New home of the LIC-born brewery known for their saisons and farmhouse ales. With the bigger space comes a proper tasting room. 14 beers on tap served in 8 and 14oz glasses. The BDG1 Buckwheat was malty and refreshing. The S10 Spruce Tip Saison has a nice citrus, herbal taste and aroma. Their location in the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard makes this place must in any traveler's list.

Incredible vibe, spacious layout, and a huge bar—Sixpoint Brewing at World Trade Center is the perfect spot to grab a drink and catch a game. With plenty of TVs, it was an ideal place to watch March Madness, and the staff was incredibly attentive, making the experience even better.

Hey, I finally made it to Six Point Brewery, man! The blackberry hard cider was top-notch, the taste was fruity and sweet it was so good I downed 3 glasses. The coolest thing, they let you sample the beers before you buy. Given their wide range of great options, that's a really nice touch. I stopped at this place for lunch before going to the 9/11 museum. There were plenty of seats available at the bar, main room, and outside around 12ish. I sat at the bar; I ordered the Club Panini and the strawberry blonde cocktail. The fries were golden and crispy however they could cut back on the salt. Otherwise, the food and drink were delicious. The environment is chill and laid back. The bartender and owner (possibly) were pleasant with a positive demeanor. Sidenote: On my way back from the museum I heard a live performance being held outside the facility which I thought added to the ambiance.

Worth the stop! Don't skip out on Brooklyn Brewing. Staff is out if this world, I cannot tell you enough how awesome they are! Truly some of the best. The taproom is pretty spacious.
